ADELAIDE ZOO

Adelaide Zoo, one of Adelaide’s most iconic attractions, is home to more than 2,500 animals and 250 species of exotic and native mammals, birds, reptiles and fish exhibited over eight hectares of magnificent botanic surroundings. It is the second oldest zoo in the nation and represents a significant part of South Australia’s heritage and social history. Since Adelaide Zoo first opened to the public in 1883, generations of South Australians have shared in the wonder of a visit to the zoo.
It’s a relaxing green city oasis and vibrant sanctuary that gives you the feeling of stepping into another world. It’s full of diversity, colour and unique things to see and do. It offers an intimate zoo experience speckled with elements of curiosity, fantasy, fun and surprise.

The South Australian Museum has five floors and endless wonders to discover. From the first signs of early complex life to the most comprehensive collection of Australian Aboriginal cultural material in the world, there is something for everyone at the Museum.
ART GALLERY OF SOUTH AUSTRALIA

Founded in 1881, the Art Gallery of South Australia is home to one of Australia’s great art collections. The collection comprises of over 45,000 works of art spanning from Australia, Europe, North America and Asia and includes one of the most important collections of Indigenous art.
ADELAIDE OVAL ROOF CLIMB
The Adelaide Oval roof climb offers a unique and exhilarating experience for visitors to this iconic sports stadium in Adelaide, South Australia. Participants are given the opportunity to climb the roof of the oval, providing stunning panoramic views of the city skyline, surrounding parklands and the pitch below accompanied by the history of Adelaide’s landmarks, such as the River Torrens, Adelaide Hills, and historic buildings.

The Adelaide Central Marlet is one of the largest fresh produce markets in the southern hemisphere and is a true testament to the diverse cultures that have shaped South Australia’s food landscape.

ILLUMINATE ADELAIDE
Illuminate Adelaide is an annual event held in Adelaide, Australia in July, that celebrates art, technology, music, and light. It features various light installations, digital art projections, and live performances across the city, creating a unique and immersive experience for attendees. The event aims to showcase the city’s creativity and innovation while engaging the community and visitors through interactive and visually captivating displays.
BOTANIC GARDENS CULTURAL TOUR
A leisurely walk around the Botanic Gardens to learn about Aboriginal bush foods and plant uses, combined with elements of social history and traditional life. First Nations tour providers tell the story of how native plants, found within the garden have been used throughout their deep and rich culture and are integral to the health of our environment today.
SHOPPING PRECINCT
Adelaide’s CBD shopping precinct Rundle Mall, located in the heart of the city. Rundle Street extends from this and features Australian designer labels such as Zimmerman, Aje, Gorman & Morrison, iconic South Australian skin care brand Jurlique, plus cafes, restaurants and bars.
TREECLIMB
Grand Course: $42.00 per adult | $38.00 per student / concession
5 progressively challenging obstacle courses set in the tree-tops, featuring zip-lines and an exhilarating Tarzan swing. Consisting of 52 challenges and is designed for thrill-seekers and active adventurers of all abilities.
Kids Course: $32 per child
3 children’s courses have 21 tree-top activities, allowing climbers to progressively complete the Yellow course, then Blue and challenge themselves on the Orange course.
Designed to allow parents and carers to be a part of the experience by coaching from the ground as adults do NOT have climb on the ‘Kid’s Course’. Up to 80 minutes of climbing which includes the harnessing and safety induction.

The Adelaide Gaol is one of the oldest remaining colonial public buildings in Adelaide and is the site of some of the State’s more interesting, grisly past.
THE DAVID ROCHE FOUNDATION MUSEUM
The David Roche Foundation was established in 1999 by the late Mr David J Roche AM (1930–2013) to be the recipient and custodian of the exceptional collection of antiques, paintings and objets d’art accumulated by him over his lifetime and to be preserved for future generations.
The David Roche Foundation collection, housed in David’s Fermoy House in Adelaide, South Australia, is one of the greatest decorative arts collections in a private institution in Australia. It spans two centuries of European design from the early rococo of France to Faberge in Russia.
The House is open by guided tour Tuesday to Saturday 10am, 12noon & 2pm
